This is my in-depth DNA Silverback Review, which is a powdered Testosterone supplement that is designed to naturally boost your testosterone.
Marketed as the worlds first natural andropause support which is designed to support men with Low-T to help with energy, mood and man mojo!
As part of the DNA Nutrition range of supplements for both men and women, DNA offer 3 test boosters for 25+, 40+ and 55+ plus a female test booster for menopause called Menoplay.
As we get older we all have a natural testosterone decline which can create a number of issues for men include lower sperm counts, for both men and women we can have a loss of libido, loss of muscle and fat gain, poor sleep and even depression.
Based on my experience of testing DNA Silverback I’ve definitely noticed a great boost in energy after taking and an increase in mood.
One of the drawbacks of taking a powder in water is the taste. It’s what I call a means to an end but I wouldn’t drink the product without getting the benefits. The mixture of Fenugreek and flavourings is something you will have to taste for yourself to see if it’s for you.

DNA Silverback ingredients
The ingredients in DNA Silverback at first look are a blend of all ingredients you will find in my top picks of the best Testo boosters. On opening the pouch it is clear that there is a lot of fenugreek in the blend as it is the first thing you can smell!
DNA Silverback health claims
The DNA website suggests that the ingredients in the pouch can give the following benefits that are EU authorised.
- Maintains healthy testosterone levels – Zinc (Zn)
- Supports normal mental performance – Vitamin B5
- Helps Reduce Fatigue & Tiredness – Vitamins B6, B12, B3, B2, C and Magnesium(Mg)
- Regulates Hormonal Activity – Vitamin B6.
- Supports Immune Function – Vitamins E, B9, D, C, B6, Selenium(Se) and Zinc(Zn).
I will go into more detail on the ingredients within the DNA Silverback test booster below.

D-Aspartic Acid
A favourite with most test boosters, D-AA used because of its properties linked with regulating the production of Testosterone.
Contains 750mg per serving vs 3000mg in Hunter Test and 1600mg in Prime Male

Vitamin D3
A real workhorse of the Testosterone Booster family. No self respecting Testo supplement would be without it. As we produce more D3 when the sun comes out, you might see your hair grow longer, which is a sign that you are producing Testosterone with natural D3.
Contains 1000IU vs 2000IU in Testo Prime and 2000IU in TestoFuel

Fenugreek
Contains compounds called furostanolic saponins, which are believed to increase testosterone production. All DNA products use Furosap, a clinically proven form of Fenugreek which is effective in improving testosterone levels.
Contains 100mg of Furosap vs 40mg 4:1 Fenugreek extract in Testogen and 800 mg in Testo Prime

Magnesium Citrate
Magnesium deficiency has been linked with issues around sleep and general well-being. It also helps to free up some of the Testo produced that can be bound to other proteins (including SHBG). Note the different types of Magnesium come in different strengths so compare like for like .
Contains 300mg vs 100mg in Prime Male and 200mg in Testogen

Nettle Extract
Stinging nettle can elevate circulating testosterone levels and also possesses aromatase inhibitors which may contribute to circulating Testo.
Contains 160mg vs 160mg in Prime Male and 160mg equivalent in TestoGen

Vitamin B2 – Riboflavin
Vitamin B2 or Riboflavin is one of the essential nutrients for testosterone production. Riboflavin converts testosterone into a more potent form of androgen, dihydrotestosterone (DHT)
Contains 1.4mg – no other test booster I have reviewed contains Vitamin B2
Zinc
Helps with brain function and the production of testosterone, also used by the prostrate gland. One of the ZMA ingredients along with Magnesium and Vitamin B6 which supports your immune system and muscles.
Contains 16mg vs 10mg in TestoGen and 30mg in Prime Male

Boron Chelate
A natural estrogen blocker and Testosterone booster, with additional properties said to boost brain power. Not included in many test boosters, premium products include it whilst others don’t.
Contains 5mg vs 10mg in Hunter Test and 6 mg in Testo Lab Pro

Luteolin
Luteolin is an antioxidant that boosts testosterone levels and is known to delay the onset of andropause. It may also be effective in delaying the initiation of late-onset hypogonadism associated with aging in males. [1]
Contains 30mg vs 60mg in Prime Male and 60 mg in Testo Lab Pro
DNA Silverback Supplement Facts
How to take DNA Silverback Testosterone Ignitor
The instructions state you should take a once daily dose of 10g or 2 teaspoons. There is no spoon or scoop in the pouch, good for the environment, not good when you have 4 different sizes of teaspoon in the drawer.
As a powder it’s easy to drink with only 150ml of water required, it does have an interesting taste which I can’t easily describe.
You do get a high dose of many of the leading test boosting ingredients so if it’s a choice of having high Testo levels (with reduced Estrogen thrown in) that has an interesting taste once per day and taking 2 tablets 3 times per day for the same benefit, I know I would prefer the powder.
Where can you buy DNA Silverback?
You can buy all of the DNA test boosters on their brand website.
There are 3 options available, White Wolf Test Amplifier For Men Aged 25+, Silverback Test Ignitor For Men Aged 40+ and Grey Fox Test Support For Men Aged 55+
Be aware that if you want to take a subscription, the plan is for a minimum of 3 months. The website says that “this is to give your body’s natural testosterone production a chance to start improving even though it can take up to 6 months depending on your micronutrient deficiencies”.
DNA has a money back guarantee which, like most other companies, comes with some caveats, these are “DNA will happily refund you if after 6 months of using our products, you can show that you have had no increase in natural testosterone production.” The onus is on you to prove it didn’t work so I would take the guarantee as a last resort rather than buying with a view to getting a refund under this guarantee.

My verdict on DNA Silverback Testosterone Ignitor
This is a new product to the market that isn’t massively well known in the market, I was lucky enough to get hold of one of the first batches of the product.
Being different in that it’s a powder and not a capsule is a bit of a risk for the manufacturer, but it does make the product different from the others I have reviewed.
What I like is the claim that the ingredients have a 95% absorption rate compared to 35% absorption rate for capsules.
This absorption rate could be one of the reasons that, on the face of it, some of the ingredients are under dosed. I would also argue that most test boosters have 6 or 8 active ingredients, DNA Silverback has 18 ingredients so whilst there maybe less DAA than some of the others, it is the amount of ingredients that makes this a great product.
Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat. Even though the taste for me was a mixture of a curry and fizzy sweets, I really felt it was a premium supplement that is worth the money for the ingredients and the power of the powder vs capsules.
